House Cleaning & Maid Service

Some people call it house cleaning and plenty of our customers call it maid service. On this coast both phrases get used about equally, which is a good sign that nobody much cares which one you pick -- and it is the same job either way: a professional who comes to your home on a set schedule, works through a written checklist, and leaves the place ready to live in.

What separates a real maid service from a one-off clean is the relationship. Your cleaner learns which cabinet the glass cleaner lives in, which rug the dog sleeps on, which bathroom takes the worst of the humidity, and which room the grandkids destroy first when they visit. After a few visits nobody is following a generic script. They are cleaning your house the way you would if you had the time.

Most Gulf Coast households land on biweekly. It keeps a house genuinely clean without paying for visits you do not need. Weekly makes sense when there are kids, pets, or simply more traffic through the house than two weeks can absorb -- and near the beach, where sand arrives with every trip through the front door, weekly is more common than people expect. Monthly works for smaller homes and tidy households that mainly want the heavy-effort tasks handled: bathrooms, floors, kitchen, blinds, tracks.

You are not locked into whichever plan you start with. Households here move between frequencies as the year turns -- more often when family visits or the house is full, less often when it empties out. Tell us and we change the schedule.

This is the part most cleaning companies get wrong on the Coast. The default assumption everywhere else is that a customer works nine to five and wants the house cleaned while they are at the office. Here, a large share of households work evenings, overnights, rotating shifts or a compressed schedule, because the casino floors run twenty-four hours a day, twelve months a year, the hospitals never stop, and a training air base and a Navy construction battalion center keep their own clocks.

So we start the scheduling conversation from the other end. Tell us when you are actually home, or when you are actually asleep, and we will build a recurring visit that fits it -- early morning before a night shift ends, midday while the house is empty, or a Saturday. What we will not do is hold you to a slot that only works on paper and then treat a rescheduled visit as your problem.
