The Village of Oak Creek -- Big Park on the older maps -- sits seven miles south of Sedona on SR 179, the Red Rock Scenic Byway, with Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte directly overhead and Coconino National Forest on every side. About 6,100 people live here, which is small next to Cottonwood or Camp Verde -- but the Village runs on visitors rather than on its year-round population.
It is the valley's second short-term rental cluster and its own destination in the eyes of booking sites: condos, cottages and apartments rather than the standalone houses you find in Sedona proper, concentrated in the resort belt anchored by the Sedona Golf Resort, an 18-hole par-71 course laid out by Gary Panks in 1988, and the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock. A condo turnover is a different job from a house turnover -- tighter square footage, shared walls, a patio that collects red dust, and a check-in that will not move.
The rest of the Village is second homes and retirees. The local economy here rests on tourism and on service to retirees and second-home owners, and the median age is 66. That produces exactly the mix we are built for: turnovers between guests, recurring cleaning for owners who are in town part of the year, and deep cleans before a family arrives for a season.
One local quirk worth naming: the Village has its own delivery ZIP, 86351, but USPS labels it Sedona. Your mail may say Sedona while your town is the Village. That is normal, it is not an error, and it does not change anything about scheduling -- we serve 86351 the same as 86336.
