Almost all of the short-term rental housing in this county is in one valley, and this is it. The three Greenhorn Valley ZIPs -- Colorado City, Beulah and Rye -- hold about 4,375 residents in 3,108 housing units, and 909 of those units are for seasonal, recreational or occasional use. That is 29 percent, against 1.8 percent across Pueblo County and 0.6 percent inside the city of Pueblo. Around Rye and the upper valley it reaches nearly 43 percent.
