Move-In & Move-Out Cleaning

An empty property cleaned to what an inspection actually looks at -- inside cabinets, grout, tracks, vents and trim.

Move-In & Move-Out Cleaning - Pueblo, CO

Moving is the one time a property gets looked at properly. A landlord walks it with a checklist, a buyer walks it with an agent, a parent walks it with a deposit in mind -- and every one of them opens cabinets, runs a finger along a track and checks the grout line. So that is the order we clean in.

Move-out cleaning is for an empty property that somebody is about to inspect. Inside every cabinet, drawer and closet. Inside the oven and the refrigerator, and all appliances inside and out. Bathrooms including grout and silicone. Interior glass, blinds, window and door tracks, sills and thresholds. Vent and return covers. Baseboards, trim, doors and frames. Wall scuffs, furniture marks and the dust lines above where pictures hung. Floors last, once everything above them is done. Then a walkthrough against the written checklist before we leave, and a plain account of anything cleaning genuinely cannot fix.

Move-in cleaning is the same job from the other end. A property that has sat empty for a few weeks in a dry, dusty climate keeps collecting the whole time, and the only moment some of it is reachable is before your furniture arrives. Cabinets and closets wiped inside, kitchen and bathrooms sanitized properly, tracks and vents cleared, floors last.

This is also the one service in this market with measurable search demand of its own outside the head term, and the reason is a calendar rather than a keyword.

Move-Out Cleaning

A move-out clean is scoped for an inspection rather than for a household. It assumes the property is empty, and it works in the order a walkthrough reads: inside first, high to low, floors last.

We clean inside every cabinet, drawer and closet, inside the oven and refrigerator, and all appliances inside and out. Bathrooms get grout and silicone rather than a surface pass. Vent and return covers come off. Window and door tracks, sills and thresholds get brushed out -- which matters more here than in most places, because ice melt and gravel dust spend all winter working into them. Baseboards, trim, doors and door frames, then wall scuffs, furniture marks and the dust lines above where pictures hung. Floors go last.

Then we walk it against the written checklist before we leave, and we tell you plainly about anything that cleaning cannot fix -- worn paint, failed silicone, grout that has stained through -- so nothing is a surprise at the inspection.

  • Inside all cabinets, drawers and closets
  • Inside oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave
  • Bathrooms including grout, silicone and hard-water buildup
  • Interior glass, blinds, tracks, sills and thresholds
  • Vent and return covers removed and cleaned
  • Baseboards, trim, doors and door frames
  • Wall scuffs, furniture marks and picture lines
  • Floors vacuumed and mopped last
  • Final walkthrough against the written checklist

Move-In Cleaning

Moving into a place somebody else lived in is the one moment you can reach everything, and it is worth using.

We clean inside all cabinets, drawers and closets before anything goes into them, sanitize the kitchen and bathrooms properly, clear window and door tracks and vent covers, wipe trim, doors and switch plates, and do the floors last. If the property has been empty for a few weeks -- which is common on a lease turn and normal on a sale -- there will be a fine dry-air dust film on every hard surface in every room, including the ones nobody opened. That comes off far more easily before the furniture arrives than after.

Book it for the day before your move if you can. It is the cheapest hour of the whole move.

August and May: Student and Lease Turnovers

This market has two hard demand spikes a year and both of them are lease dates. Colorado State University Pueblo enrolls roughly 3,800 students and is one of the largest employers in the city; Pueblo Community College serves several thousand more a semester and, like the university, is a federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution. Between them they fill up in August and empty in May, and every one of those moves produces the same job: an empty unit that somebody else is about to inspect.

Belmont and the East Side around ZIP 81001 carry most of it -- the university sits inside that ZIP, and it is the youngest large geography in the county with a median age of 34. That is why this service has a page of its own for that side of town.

What we would say to anybody working an August or May date: book early. Those two weeks are the busiest of the year in this market, deposit deadlines do not move, and a Saturday in the middle of them fills up first. Our hours run Monday through Saturday for exactly that reason. For landlords and property managers turning several units at once, send us the turn dates rather than calling each one in -- the same written scope on every unit is what makes a deposit conversation about a documented standard rather than about what somebody meant by "clean".
