Regular cleaning keeps a house from sliding backwards: surfaces wiped, floors vacuumed and mopped, bathrooms and kitchen kept sanitary. It is maintenance, and it is scoped and priced as maintenance.

Deep cleaning resets the baseline. We pull the stove out and clean the wall behind it. We take the grates off the vents. We scrub grout instead of mopping over it.
