Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

A move-out clean is graded by somebody with a clipboard, not by how the place smells, and that changes what we prioritize. The inspection list is remarkably consistent: inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, inside cabinets and closet shelves, bathroom grout, baseboards, window and slider tracks, and the garage floor.

We clean to that list. Empty units get the best result because we can reach every corner, so schedule us after the truck leaves if you possibly can. Give us a week of notice where you can -- more in the summer, when leases in this county turn over hardest.

A move-in clean is the opposite problem. Nobody is grading it -- you just do not want to unpack into somebody else's grime. The previous tenant's idea of clean usually stopped at eye level, and whatever the house sat through while it was vacant is still there. In this climate a house that stood empty and closed up through a humid month has its own smell, and that is worth dealing with before the boxes come in.

New construction is its own case. A brand-new home in Horizon West, Del Webb Sunbridge, or any of the fast-growing Davenport, FL communities is not the same as a clean home: drywall dust hides in vents, window tracks, cabinet interiors, and every horizontal ledge, and it keeps reappearing for weeks if the first clean is superficial.
