Winter Garden, FL is two towns wearing one name. North of the highway you have the historic downtown on Plant Street -- a walkable district on the West Orange Trail, with Lake Apopka beyond it. South of SR-50 you have Horizon West, a town center ringed by mixed-use villages and one of the fastest-growing master-planned areas in Florida.
The population numbers show the split. The city counted 46,964 residents in 2020, but ZIP 34787 carries roughly 88,636 people because it swallows most of Horizon West. 34787 is also the fourth of the four Four Corners ZIPs, and it goes by Oakland as a USPS acceptable name.
What that means for cleaning is new-construction housing stock and dual-income households, which is close to the ideal case for recurring service. New builds come with their own list: construction dust that keeps reappearing in vents and window tracks for months, builder-grade grout that has never been sealed against Florida humidity, big windows, and screen enclosures that catch pollen. Older homes near Plant Street have the opposite profile and want a different kind of attention.
The neighborhoods we work across include the historic downtown and Plant Street area, Stoneybrook West -- gated and on the lake -- Stonecrest, Westfield, Hamlin Town Center, and Waterleigh. Winter Garden Village and the West Orange Trail are the landmarks most people navigate by.
