Airbnb & Vacation Rental Cleaning on Galveston's West End

The West End is not a version of the rest of the island, and pretending otherwise is how turnovers run long out here. ZIP 77554 has more housing units than resi

A West End turnover runs on a clock, so we run it as a fixed sequence rather than a task list. Beds stripped and remade. Bathrooms cleaned and restocked, with the shower and the drain checked properly because sand is the thing guests notice first. Kitchen reset -- dishes, appliance exteriors, sink, counters, trash -- to a state somebody can actually cook in. Sand cleared out of the ground-level entry, the stairwell and every door track. Floors. Interior glass and sliders, because the water view is the product and salt film is what makes a washed pane look dirty. Decks, rails and the outdoor shower. Consumables restocked. Staged, photographed, out.

The distances matter more here than anywhere else in this county, and we would rather do that arithmetic with you before you book. Pirates Beach is about 18 minutes from downtown Galveston. Jamaica Beach is about 25. Pointe West, out at San Luis Pass, is closer to 39, with Pirates Beach West, Palm Beach, Terramar Beach, Sea Isle and Beachside Village spread along the road between them. A same-day turn between a morning checkout and an afternoon check-in is routine at the near end and a genuinely tighter proposition at the far end. Tell us the subdivision and your two times and you will get a straight answer about which windows we can hold.

Scale is the other thing that separates a beach house from a condo. Plenty of West End houses sleep eight to fourteen people, which means a full linen change is a large job on its own, the dish load is a large job on its own, and there are usually three or four bathrooms rather than two. Add two or three flights of stairs, because the house is on pilings, and you have a turnover whose length is set by capacity and access far more than by square footage. We can change and launder linens as part of the turn, or work with linens you keep on site or send out -- tell us which arrangement you run and we build around it.

And because a lot of West End owners live somewhere else, the report is part of the service rather than a courtesy. Photos of every room go to you when we walk out, along with anything broken, missing or running low. You should not have to drive the length of the island to find out whether your property is guest-ready, and you should never find out from a review.
