Vacation Rental Cleaning in Rockport

Rockport is the second short-term rental zone of the Coastal Bend: roughly 1,789 active listings as of June 2026, in a town of about 11,600 that also serves as the Aransas County seat. It is 30 miles and about 34 minutes from Corpus Christi up SH-35 through Portland, Gregory and Aransas Pass, and Fulton -- a separate, legally distinct town of about 1,670 people that everyone locally says in the same breath as Rockport -- borders it to the north. We serve both.

What makes Rockport different from the islands is that it runs two rental calendars at once, and the second one is invisible to anyone who has not worked here. The summer and holiday calendar behaves like any coastal market: turnovers on a checkout-to-check-in clock, sand, salt film, and a full property reset between guests. The Winter Texan calendar behaves nothing like it. Owners arrive in October and are gone by April, which turns their properties into open-the-house and close-the-house jobs twice a year rather than turnover jobs.

An open visit deals with what a closed property collects over a humid Coastal Bend summer: musty closed rooms, appliances emptied but not wiped, dust everywhere, bathrooms that have not been run in months, and outdoor space that has weathered. A close visit is the opposite discipline -- leave it in a state that survives being shut up until October. We scope those as their own service rather than charging a turnover for a job that is genuinely a deep clean.

Much of the housing stock here is a rebuild. Hurricane Harvey came ashore at Rockport as a Category 4 storm on 25 August 2017 and about 20 percent of the population was still displaced a year later. That is a plain fact about the property you own or manage, not marketing color: a lot of what we clean here is newer construction with newer surfaces, which changes what belongs on the stone, the glass, and the floors.
