Kiwi Cleaning Services started with one stubborn idea: a cleaning company should be able to tell you exactly what it is going to do before it does it, and then do that same thing every single visit. That is where the 42-point checklist came from. It is why we bring our own supplies instead of using whatever is under your sink, and it is why we would rather reclean a job free within 24 hours than argue with you about whether it was good enough.

Corpus Christi is a new market for us and we are not going to dress that up. We have not been cleaning houses off Ocean Drive for a decade and we are not going to pretend otherwise on a web page. What we can tell you is why we came. This is the eighth-largest city in Texas, a port and refinery town of about 317,000 with two campuses and a naval air station inside it, and more people search for cleaning here in a month than in most cities its size. Then there is the coast: roughly seven thousand short-term rentals within 45 minutes, from Mustang Island down to the Padre Island canals and up to Rockport, almost all of them run as real businesses by hosts and property managers who need a turnover partner rather than a housekeeper.

That shaped how we set the market up. Turnovers here run as a fixed sequence against a checkout-to-check-in window, not as a general tidy: strip and remake beds, bathrooms, kitchen, sand and salt film off floors and glass, restock, stage, photograph, out. Every turnover ends with photos of each room sent to you, and anything broken or missing gets reported before a guest finds it. On the mainland the job is different and the checklist reflects that -- Gulf humidity with no real mold off-season, salt air dulling windows and fixtures, and fine sandy grit that settles into carpet and grout instead of sitting on top of it.

Everything else follows from the same standard. House cleaning on a schedule you set, deep cleans for a home that needs a reset, move-in and move-out cleaning built around what a landlord actually inspects, and commercial work for the offices, clinics, storefronts, warehouses and port-adjacent facilities that make up a working city. We run all five services in every area we cover: Corpus Christi and the Padre Island neighborhood, Port Aransas, Portland, Rockport and Fulton, Kingsville, Aransas Pass, Ingleside, and Robstown. Same checklist, same supplies, same guarantee, whether the address is a canal-front condominium or a house on a Robstown side street.

We work in English and Spanish, and in this market that is not a courtesy line. About six in ten Corpus Christi residents are Hispanic or Latino, roughly a third of households speak Spanish at home, and in Robstown it is more than nine in ten.
