Indian Point is the densest turnover work in the Branson market, and the geography is the reason. It is an incorporated village of about five hundred people on a peninsula running out into Table Rock Lake, reached off MO-76 by way of Silver Dollar City Parkway and Indian Point Road, and once you are on the peninsula there is one road in and one road out. What sits on it is close to wall-to-wall resort buildings, condominium complexes, marinas and campgrounds -- plus Silver Dollar City itself, which has been here since May 1960 and draws something like 2.2 million visitors a year.

That park is the clock. It runs from mid-March into early January and closes for most of January and February, which is why the deepest trough in the Branson year is a midwinter one and why the peninsula goes quiet in a way lake towns usually do not. In between, the peaks are June, December and August, stays are short and show-driven, and same-day back-to-back turns inside one building are ordinary rather than exceptional.

The work here is condo turnover work. Two bedrooms is the most common unit in this market and better than a third of all listings sleep eight or more, which means an eight-person party moving through a two-bedroom footprint with a bunk loft and a sleeper sofa doing the extra work. Access comes through a front desk, a lockbox, a gate code or a key handoff. Units are reached by elevator or exterior stairwell. Laundry is stacked in-unit or shared, and its turnaround limit often decides whether a same-day turn is possible at all. Floor plans repeat across dozens of units in one building, which is an enormous advantage when the checklist is written down.
