Cleaning Services in Socastee
Recurring house cleaning along the SC 707 and SC 544 corridors, from Socastee out to Forestbrook and Red Hill.
Socastee is the closest area to us and the least touristy place on this list. About 24,000 people live here, and the 29588 corridor around them adds Red Hill at roughly 16,000 and Forestbrook at about 7,500 -- call it 47,000 year-round residents in a belt that almost never appears in anything written about Myrtle Beach. Under five percent of the housing is seasonal. These are homes, not rentals.
The center of it is the Socastee Swing Bridge, built in 1935, 217 feet long, one of only about ten swing bridges left in South Carolina and the anchor of the Socastee Historic District, which went on the National Register in 2002. Around it the community runs along SC 707 and SC 544, a mix of older ranch homes with the low-slung floor plans of their era and newer subdivisions filling in behind them. It is eight miles from the beach and fourteen minutes on the road, which makes it the easiest area on this list to serve well.
Socastee also has the highest Hispanic share of any community in the metro, at roughly 19 percent -- close to three times the county figure -- with Forestbrook and Red Hill close behind. Every page of this site has a full Spanish version, and we take quote requests and coordinate scheduling in English or Spanish. Given that hospitality and food service is the single largest employment sector on this coast, that is not a courtesy feature; it is how a lot of households here would rather do business.
The work here is straightforward and steady: weekly, biweekly or monthly house cleaning, deep cleans for a house that has gone a while, and move-in and move-out cleans. Coastal humidity still reaches this far inland -- shower grout, window tracks and closed-up closets go the same way here as they do on the beach, just without the sand.

Local Knowledge
Like Carolina Forest, Socastee shares the USPS city name "Myrtle Beach" on its 29588 mail, so plenty of vendors will insist the address is really Myrtle Beach. Locals do not talk that way, and neither do we. Worth knowing if you live along here: the swing bridge is a working bridge on the Intracoastal Waterway, and when it opens for a boat, traffic on 707 stops. It is a small thing that turns into a scheduling fact, so we build a little slack into Socastee appointments rather than promising an arrival time we cannot control. Red Hill and Forestbrook are covered on the same terms as Socastee proper.
