Move-In Cleaning
Move-in cleaning is the opposite problem. Nobody is grading it -- you simply do not want to unpack into somebody else's grime. The previous tenant's idea of clean usually stopped at eye level, and whatever the place collected while it sat vacant is still there.
In a humid climate a house that has been closed up for a few weeks is not just dusty. Bathrooms and anything with a seal need real attention before you move a toothbrush in, and the cabinets you are about to fill and the appliances you are about to put food in deserve better than a wipe. We do all of it before the furniture arrives: inside every cabinet and drawer, inside the appliances, bathroom fixtures and grout, closet shelving, ceiling fans, vent covers, sills, tracks and every floor in the place.
PCS Moves and Off-Post Lease Turn-Ins
This market moves on the Army's calendar. Fort Campbell has more than 30,000 Soldiers assigned to it, roughly 51,000 family members, and only around 4,557 family housing units and 9,838 barracks spaces on post -- so about two-thirds of assigned Soldiers and their families live off post, on civilian leases in Montgomery or Stewart County in Tennessee or Christian or Trigg County in Kentucky. When orders come through, that lease has an end date, and something has to happen to the house before the walkthrough.
We work off-post housing across Clarksville, Oak Grove, Hopkinsville, Woodlawn and the neighborhoods along the Kentucky line. To be clear about the limit: unescorted access to the installation for non-DoD personnel requires an installation access pass and a background check through the Visitor Control Center, and we have not completed that, so we cannot clean on post today. If your address is on the civilian side of the gate, we can.
