Cabin and Airbnb Cleaning in Hochatown

Hochatown is the reason this market exists. A couple hundred people live here full time, and roughly three thousand vacation cabins surround them -- something close to thirteen rentals for every permanent resident. The town incorporated in 2022 and now has its own board of trustees and town administrator, but the working shape of the place is simpler than that: seven or eight miles of US-259 north of Broken Bow, cabins on both sides of it, Beavers Bend State Park and the lake on one flank, and the Choctaw Landing resort anchoring the strip since it opened in 2024.

The cabins here are not spare bedrooms. Nearly every listing is a whole cabin rather than a room, more than half have three bedrooms or more, and most of them sleep eight or more. That changes what a turnover is. It means bunk-room linens in volume, a hot tub wiped down and sanitized between groups, ash and soot cleared out of a wood-burning fireplace, a deck and screened porch swept clear of pine needles and red clay, an outdoor kitchen and fire pit checked, and a game room -- pool table, air hockey, arcade cabinet, shuffleboard -- reset to match the listing photos.

And all of it happens against a clock. Checkout and check-in are a few hours apart and the review your next guest writes depends on what happens in between, so we run turns as a fixed sequence instead of a general clean: strip and remake beds, bathrooms, kitchen and dishes, hot tub and hearth, floors and decks, restock, stage, photograph, out. Fridays and Sundays are when everything lands at once, and back-to-back weekends from spring break through summer are the norm rather than the exception.

Turnovers are not the whole job here either. Owners who use their cabins themselves ask for a deep clean between seasons -- after the March rush, before summer, or when a second home gets opened up for the first time in months. New cabins going onto a rental program need a first clean before the first guest ever walks in, which is construction dust rather than guest mess and takes a different approach entirely.
