Cleaning Services in Estes Park

Estes Park runs on turnovers. More than 2,000 short-term rentals operate across the Estes Valley, a little over half the calendar is booked, and that adds up to thousands of changeovers a season in a town of fewer than six thousand residents. The clock those turnovers run on is not ours and it is not yours -- it belongs to the park. Rocky Mountain National Park has required timed-entry reservations from May through October since 2020 and drew more than 4.1 million recreation visits in 2025, so guests arrive and leave inside a reservation window, checkouts bunch together, and a same-day checkout-to-check-in is the ordinary case in season rather than the exception. The second thing this valley needs is somebody looking after houses whose owners are not standing in them. Estes Park is a town of about 5,900 people with a median age of 55.5 and a housing stock built around visitors, so a large share of the homes here are being kept for somebody who is somewhere else this month. For those owners, recurring cleaning is not about keeping up with a busy family. It is about having someone reliable in the house between visits who will tell them what they found.

The cleaning problem here is snow, not dust. Estes Park sits at over 7,500 feet and takes about 104 inches of snow in an average year, with January nights running around 16 degrees. What that does to a house is specific: road sand and grit at every entry, ice melt tracked across entry tile, snowmelt standing on hardwood, wet boots and gear stacked in a mud room, and a shoulder season where the same house goes from mud to dust inside a week. Estes Park itself is Elkhorn Avenue and the Riverwalk, the Stanley Hotel on its hill since 1909, Lake Estes behind Olympus Dam, and the park entrances just west of town. Roosevelt National Forest borders the town on the north, south and east, the Big Thompson River and the Fall River run through it, Lumpy Ridge stands immediately north, and elk walk through town on the spring and fall migrations. We clean in Carriage Hills, Windcliff, Fall River, Marys Lake, Stanley Heights, Little Valley and High Drive, and on the roads in between.

Loveland is the other half of this market, and it is not a footnote. About 76,400 people live there -- thirteen times Estes Park -- at 4,997 feet, more than two thousand feet below town, where the Big Thompson Canyon opens onto the plains. It is the Sweetheart City, with a Valentine Re-Mailing Program that runs more than 160,000 cards through it a year, Benson Sculpture Garden and its 150-plus pieces, Sculpture in the Park every August, and Lake Loveland in the middle of it. It is also where the working economy of this market sits: manufacturers including Hewlett-Packard, Teledyne and Hach, a medical center, and Northern Colorado Regional Airport. US 34 through the Big Thompson Canyon is the road this whole market runs on, about 34 miles and 50 to 55 minutes end to end, with Drake at the Devils Gulch junction partway up it. The rest of the valley is smaller and more particular. South of town, CO 7 climbs the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway fifteen miles to Allenspark, a village of lodges and cabins at 8,429 feet inside Roosevelt National Forest, and US 36 runs about twenty miles southeast to Lyons with Pinewood Springs on the way. Northeast, Devils Gulch Road drops into Glen Haven, a canyon community of fewer than two hundred people that rebuilt itself after the September 2013 floods. West of town, the road simply runs out for half the year: Trail Ridge Road tops out at 12,183 feet and closes for most of the winter, so we work the east side of the park.
