Our Story
Kiwi Cleaning Services started in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas with one idea: a cleaning company should tell you exactly what it is going to do, do that, and stand behind it. Everything we built came out of that -- the written 42-point checklist, the Kiwi Clean Guarantee, and quoting the home in front of us instead of reading a number off a price list.
Palm Coast is a new market for us, and we say so plainly rather than arriving with a stack of claims we have not earned here yet. What we bring is the part of the business that does not depend on tenure: a checklist every visit follows, eco-friendly products that are safe around kids and pets, all our own supplies and equipment, and a free re-clean within 24 hours if a job is not right.
We did the homework before we opened here, because Palm Coast asks different questions of a cleaning company than most cities do. It was a plan before it was a city -- ITT began it in 1969, and it became a city only at the end of 1999 -- and the housing shows it: 86.6 percent detached houses, most of them built since 2000. Some of it sits behind a gate, like Grand Haven on the Intracoastal. And a real share of it sits closed for part of the year: the census counts 5,067 homes across Flagler County held for seasonal or occasional use. That is why our questions here start with access and timing -- how the crew gets through the gate, how long the house was closed, when you arrive -- before they get to square footage.
The coast does its own work on a house, too. Sand comes in on shoes and paws and settles in slider tracks and along thresholds. Salt air leaves a film on sliding glass doors and the fixtures near them. A screened lanai is a room people actually live in. Our checklist gives each of those its own line here, because a list written for somewhere else would walk right past them.
The other thing we studied was the rental calendar. Tax collector records counted 581 vacation-rental properties in Palm Coast and 202 in Flagler Beach in October 2024, so turnovers -- linens, restock checks, photos of every room -- sit second on our list here rather than at the bottom of it.
Every page on this site exists in Spanish as well as English, written in Spanish rather than run through a translator, and quote requests and scheduling can be handled in either. If we would not do it in our own house, we do not do it in yours.
