About Kiwi Cleaning Services in Springfield, MA
Our Story
Kiwi Cleaning Services started in 2026 in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas with one idea: a cleaning company should tell you exactly what it is going to do, do that, and stand behind it. Everything we built came out of that -- the written 42-point checklist, the Kiwi Clean Guarantee, and quoting the home in front of us instead of reading a number off a price list.
Springfield is a new market for us, and we say so plainly rather than arriving with claims we have not earned here yet. Cleaning companies have worked Hampden County for years, and some of them are good at it. What we bring is the part of the business that does not depend on tenure: a checklist every visit follows, eco-friendly products that are safe around kids and pets, all our own supplies and equipment, no hidden fees, and a free re-clean within 24 hours if a job is not right.
We did the homework before we opened here, because Springfield asks different questions of a cleaning company than most cities do. More than a third of its homes were built before 1940, more than a quarter are in two- to four-unit houses, and half are rented. That means the job is often one floor of an older house -- plaster, original hardwood, radiators, a shared stair -- and our quote asks which floor before it asks how many bedrooms. Five miles south, Longmeadow is almost entirely detached houses with the highest household income in the county, and the job there is a whole house on a standing weekly or biweekly slot. One written checklist covers both; the time it takes moves with the home.
The other thing we studied is language. Springfield is 48.6 percent Hispanic and 38.7 percent Puerto Rican, and in Holyoke both shares are higher. In a county like that, Spanish is not a feature to mention at the bottom of a page; it is half the job. So every page on this site has a complete Spanish version, and through the quote form or by email you can ask for a quote, agree the scope, set a schedule and raise a problem in Spanish.
If we would not do it in our own house, we do not do it in yours.
