Kiwi Cleaning covers the southeast corner of the Valley: Queen Creek at the center, San Tan Valley across the county line to the east, and Gilbert on the west side. Our cleaners live and work in this corner of the metro -- one of Kiwi's owners lives in San Tan Valley -- so this is not a service area drawn on a map from somewhere else. It is the part of the Valley we drive every day.

Queen Creek itself is about 87,000 people and still growing fast, a town that turned from farms and horse property into one of Arizona's busiest home-building markets in about two decades. The range shows on any given street: an early-2000s stucco two-story on a quarter acre, a brand-new build in Ironwood Crossing still shedding construction dust, a resort-style home behind the gates at Encanterra, and a genuine horse property off Sossaman with a shop, a barn and a house that fights a losing battle with arena dust. Those are four different cleaning jobs, and we would rather quote each one honestly than pretend one number covers them all.

The desert sets the terms here, and any cleaning company that works this metro knows the two facts that matter. The first is dust. Queen Creek sits at 1,417 feet on the Sonoran Desert floor against San Tan Mountain Regional Park, with open desert and working farmland on two sides. From late June into September the monsoon drives it -- one haboob can lay a film of fine dust through every track, sill and horizontal surface in a closed house -- and the rest of the year the wind does the same work more slowly. The second is hard water. Valley water is famously mineral-heavy, and it shows as haze and spotting on shower glass, faucets and fixtures that an ordinary wipe smears rather than removes. Our 42-point checklist gives tracks, sills, glass and fixtures their own line items because of exactly those two facts.

The calendar here has its own shape. Monsoon season is the involuntary rush -- the days after a dust storm book out first. October is the second rush, when the winter residents come back to houses that sat closed through the hottest months and want them opened up properly; April is the same in reverse. New-build move-ins run all year in a town growing this fast, and a builder-clean house is never actually clean -- construction dust keeps surfacing out of vents and cabinet tops for months. And summer itself changes the work: when it is 110 outside, everyone lives indoors on the tile, and a house simply gets more use per week than it does in February.

Schnepf Farms and the Queen Creek Olive Mill are the short version of what this town was before the subdivisions -- and both are still working, which tells you the farm dust is not a metaphor. The town center has grown up around Ellsworth and Ocotillo, the Queen Creek Marketplace carries the retail, and the school district keeps opening campuses to keep up. It is a young, busy, two-income town, and the most common thing we clean here is simply a family home on a weekly or biweekly schedule whose owners would rather have their Saturday back.

Every page on this site exists in Spanish as well as English -- the same pages, not a summary -- and you can request a quote, agree a scope, set a schedule and raise a problem in either language and get the same answer either way.

Kiwi as a company is new to the Valley, and we would rather say that plainly than dress it up. What is not new here is the crew: our cleaners already work these towns and live in them. What travels with the company is the part that does not depend on tenure -- a written 42-point checklist that every visit follows, eco-friendly products that are safe around children and pets, all supplies and equipment brought to the job, and the Kiwi Clean Guarantee: if a clean is not right, we come back and reclean it free within 24 hours, no fine print.
