Queen Creek itself is about 87,000 people and still growing fast, a town that turned from farms and horse property into one of Arizona's busiest home-building markets in about two decades. The range shows on any given street: an early-2000s stucco two-story on a quarter acre, a brand-new build in Ironwood Crossing still shedding construction dust, a resort-style home behind the gates at Encanterra, and a genuine horse property off Sossaman with a shop, a barn and a house that fights a losing battle with arena dust. Those are four different cleaning jobs, and we would rather quote each one honestly than pretend one number covers them all.

The desert sets the terms here, and any cleaning company that works this metro knows the two facts that matter. The first is dust. Queen Creek sits at 1,417 feet on the Sonoran Desert floor against San Tan Mountain Regional Park, with open desert and working farmland on two sides. And summer itself changes the work: when it is 110 outside, everyone lives indoors on the tile, and a house simply gets more use per week than it does in February.

Schnepf Farms and the Queen Creek Olive Mill are the short version of what this town was before the subdivisions -- and both are still working, which tells you the farm dust is not a metaphor. The town center has grown up around Ellsworth and Ocotillo, the Queen Creek Marketplace carries the retail, and the school district keeps opening campuses to keep up. It is a young, busy, two-income town, and the most common thing we clean here is simply a family home on a weekly or biweekly schedule whose owners would rather have their Saturday back.
